Providence is calling a Software Developer 3 to Providence Health Plans in Beaverton, OR.
Providence Health Plansis a managed care, preferred provider and workers compensation organizationcovering 650,000 lives across Oregon and is under the umbrella of ProvidenceHealth & Services. We are currently looking for a Software DeveloperIII capable of developing solutions across all the tiers of a web solution;from the user web interface through the middle tiers all the way to thedatabase. Ideally a successful candidate would be a full stack developerthat is experienced in C# in a .net environment.

In this position, you will:
Perform a variety of technical administration, development, and support functions for Information Services.
Work with customers, vendors, consultants and other Information Services staff in performing their duties.
Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis.
Required qualifications for this position include:
2 year degree plus 5 years of demonstrated software development experience in an enterprise environment; -or-
4 year degree plus 3 years of demonstrated software development experience in an enterprise environment; -or-
6 year degree plus 3 years of demonstrated software development experience in an enterprise environment; -or-
7 years of demonstrated software development experience in an enterprise environment
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience building large distributed, scalable enterprise (preferably healthcare) C# applications;
Object-oriented programming, messaging, routing patterns, and design patterns
Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
EDI healthcare transaction types (837, 834, 835, 820, 270, 271, etc)
