Providence is calling a Manager - Healthcare Services Case/Disease Management to Providence Health Plan in Beaverton, OR.
In this position, you will:
Participate in the development, implementation and program management of Quality, Case and Disease Management, and Medical/Utilization Review Programs for Providence Health Plans.
Provide ongoing vision and direction for the responsible programs in a leadership position.
Be responsible for evaluation of programs and activities.
Ensure the development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
Maintain program compliance required by regulatory and accrediting bodies.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing -or- graduation from an accredited equivalent clinical program
Formal education or training in supervision, management, or leadership
Currently licensed as a registered nurse in good standing in Oregon -or- current equivalent clinical license
3 years of management or supervisory experience in a clinical or managed care setting
5 years of clinical experience
2 years of utilization or quality management experience in medical insurance or a managed care setting
Demonstrated experience in program planning, development, and evaluation
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Masters degree in nursing or a related field
Other clinical bachelor's degree
Certification in case management, utilization review, or quality improvement
Experience in quality management principles, tools, and techniques
Project management, Six Sigma, Lean, Change Acceleration Process (CAP) experience
Experience with HEDIS, CAHPS, Medicare 5-Star Rating, NCQA and/or URAC accreditation
