Providence Health & Services Enterprise Risk Management Director in Beaverton, Oregon
Providence is calling an Enterprise Risk Management Director to Providence Health Plan in Beaverton, OR.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for the leadership, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate and monitor Providence Health Plans(PHP) operational and strategic risks.
Be charged with continuing to develop Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) tools and practices to analyze and report on enterprise risks and to manage those risks according to PHP's ERM framework.
Ensure that PHP's risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, rating agency standards and strategic imperatives of the organization.
Regularly report on ERM activities and associated risks to the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, ERM Committee, Administrative Council and the Health Plan Board.
Hold responsibility for leading and coordinating the annual Own Risk Solvency Assessment (ORSA) compliance and reporting process in line with State requirements.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business administration, accounting, finance or related field
8 years of risk management and/or regulatory compliance experience
5 years of experience managing ERM efforts and/or relevant Internal Audit experience with demonstrated understanding of risk management, risk modeling, compliance and risk reporting systems
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
10 years of risk management and/or regulatory compliance experience
Demonstrated technical knowledge of health insurance, managed care and government programs compliance/regulatory matters
