Providence Health & Services Credentialing Supervisor in Beaverton, Oregon


Providence is calling a Credentialing Supervisor to Providence Health Plan in Beaverton, OR.

In this position you will:

  • Facilitate hiring, daily management, direction, coordination and evaluation of the credentialing coordinators.

  • Provide internal project management of quality improvement activities.

  • Support Quality Improvement (QI) Program Administration activities.

  • Coordinate QI activities with other Providence Health System entities.

  • Coordinate QI activities with external entities (e.g., Local initiatives; State and Federal initiatives; other collaboratives).


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • 6 years of experience in Medical Staff or Credentialing -or- Bachelors of Arts/Science (BA/BS) degree with 2 years experience in medical staff or credentialing

  • 3 years of experience leading teams (project coordination/management) -or- direct supervision responsibilities -and- 1 year of quality management/quality improvement experience

  • Experience in project management, team facilitation, demonstrated coaching and teaching skills, program evaluation, data analysis, and/or medical management

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience with MSOW credentialing software

  • Prior auditing experience
