Providence is calling a Client Systems Specialist 1 to Providence Health & Services located in Anchorage AK, Everett WA, Renton WA, Beaverton OR, Spokane WA OR Richland WA.

We are seeking a Client Systems Specialist to be responsible in providing client/server level licensing, software provisioning, Epic printing, incident management, Mobile Device Management account creation, Exchange, Lync, and video conference support as needed.

In this position you will:

  • Be able to accomplish all of the Client Systems Specialist 1 responsibilities.

  • Have the ability to delegate responsibilities among team and handle escalated issues. Provide mentorship to level one staff.

  • Be accountable for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing work efforts on a daily basis, identifying and communicating resource needs, performing quality reviews, and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.

  • Configure, test and certify video conference equipment for use in multi-point video conferences. In conjunction with Collab-Apps Team, plan and perform preventative maintenance for scheduled down times for service issues, upgrades; new hardware and coordinate changes. Verification and validation of software releases.

  • Set high standards of performance for self; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing standards of excellence. Working under minimal supervision without requiring detailed instructions regarding the execution of tasks specific and setting priorities. Prioritization of work load balance adhere to department SLA requirements.

  • Provide technical analysis, design, and support for the Enterprise Epic Client Systems and related applications as required for daily system operations, system upgrades and new releases.

  • Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables. Exercise sound judgment and expertise in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • Four (4) years of experience in desktop, workstation or server technologies and related application infrastructure with understanding or experience with systems integration, Active Directory, Epic Hyperspace, Windows servers, or Citrix platforms. Organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities are critical for success in this position.

OR

  • Four (4) years progressively responsible experience in a Customer Service role supporting technical applications or collaborative technologies. And any combination of: 4 years of small (small meetings include those with support limited to one technical staff), executive-level meeting/event coordination & production experience involving multiple audio and video technologies, or 4 years progressively responsible experience as a Video Bridge Operator, supporting Polycom (or similar) technology and/or progressively responsible Business Analyst experience.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Undergraduate degree in any field.
