Providence Health & Services Application Support Manager in Beaverton, Oregon

Description:

Providence is calling a Application Support Manager to Providence Health Plan in Beaverton, OR.

In this position, you will:

  • Be responsible for managing a group consisting of scrum masters, product owners, business analysts, and/or application developers that deliver application support services to our business partners.

  • Collaborate with the IS Leadership team to set and implement policies and procedures related to application development best practices and quality standards.

  • Work with Engineering, Data Center, Program/Solutions Management and Quality Assurance to identify solutions based on business strategy, striving to exceed business expectations.

  • Play a key role in coaching your team to deliver timely, high quality business value.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience -or- 8 years of relevant experience

  • 3 years of experience managing application support related teams of 10-15 people

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment

  • Ability to organize, prioritize and schedule work assignments

  • Excellent verbal, written and group presentation skills

  • Team building and conflict resolution skills

  • Strong ability to resolve complex problems and issues

  • Be able to delegate and assign activities with clear timelines

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Computer Science and Engineering disciplines
