Providence Health & Services RN Performance Improvement Coordinator in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse Performance Improvement Coordinator to the Performance Improvement Department at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.
In this position you will:
Be a resource for internal and external quality standards.
Act as a resource to management and staff on the performance improvement process, identify performance improvement projects and develop action plans and outcome measures to demonstrate improvement.
Collect, compile, and aggregate performance improvement and patient safety data, identifying and working with stakeholders to resolve “missed opportunities”.
Assist with development and delivery of education offerings, for organization leaders to include managers and staff, related to quality, performance improvement, patient safety, and healthcare standards, as well as quality improvement methods and tools.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited/approved nursing program.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or within three (3) years of hire.
Registered Nurse Licensure in State of Alaska.
Four (4) years of recent health care experience.
Systems thinker with strong interpersonal, facilitation and problem solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
Familiarity with data retrieval, manipulation, analysis, display, and presentation, standard PC software and performing assessments and reviews.
Ability to express data in statistically relevant terms.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to make presentations.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Certification as Health Care Quality Professional.
Experience in cardiovascular, critical and/or progressive care.
